Bardahl Brake Fluid DOT 4 LV is a low viscosity synthetic fluid for disc and drum brake hydraulic systems and clutch, of both cars and motorcycles, with high stability properties at high temperatures. Recommended for latest generation vehicles equipped with electronic braking and stability control systems (ABS, ESP, ASR, TCS, EBD…).

The high boiling point, both in dry and wet conditions, allows the product to be used in complete safety even in case of particularly high temperatures, without the likelihood of the formation of dangerous vapor bubbles in the fluid (Vapor Lock phenomenon). Its excellent fluidity when cold, on the other hand, allows it to be used even at the lowest environmental temperatures, thus ensuring maximum safety when braking at both high and low temperatures.

Bardahl Brake Fluid DOT 4 LV is not corrosive towards metals present in hydraulic systems and does not cause swelling of the rubber parts with which it is in contact (even permanently), thus helping to avoid problems with the seals generally present in braking systems.

Its considerable lubricating power favors the proper functioning of the mechanical parts present in hydraulic circuits and helps to reduce the wear of moving parts.

Bardahl Brake Fluid DOT 4 LV by virtue of its high chemical stability, makes the product unalterable even under the effect of particularly intense thermal stress.



Always follow the vehicle manufacturer’s instructions.

Keep the brake fluid in its original container and well closed to prevent moisture absorption. The absorbed moisture significantly decreases the boiling point of the fluid, thus favoring the creation of steam bubbles thus reducing the braking effectiveness of the system.

The fluid can damage paint. Not compatible with mineral and silicone fluids.
